The physical process of making milk is often a painful reminder following the loss of a later term pregnancy, or a still birth. I will help you with milk suppression, or establishing a pumping schedule for donations. Please call/text me to set up an appointment if there is nothing available very soon. I realize time is of the essence, and I am willing to meet with you after hours. 480.242.5588

This class, taught at Gilbert Family Birth Center, will prepare you for the initial weeks of infant feeding. Each class will be a bit different, as no two families need the exact same education, but these are some of the basics everyone will learn:

What you can do in preparation for feeding your new baby

Which products may be helpful (and which are NOT)

    Pump education

Which red flags to watch out for

What you can expect in the first few weeks

    Identifying normal infant behavior

When you may need to seek professional help

Generally, clients are encouraged to take this class in the third trimester, and before 36 weeks of pregnancy.

This class is $50 for the primary parent and a partner. You will need to register for this class, as spaces are limited.

If your baby will be born via surrogate, or if the new family will otherwise consist of more than two immediate parents, you are all welcome to attend this class.

Please text 480.242.5588 to sign up for this class. Include your name, telephone number, and email, and let know which date you would like to attend.
